The guy will go down as the worst clock manager in the history of football. But the worst of the Andy Reid era is play-calling!
Why would anyone use the same play year after year that's killed the Eagles' Super Bowl hopes? I'm talking about that jump-ball floater in the corner of the end zone, the worst call in football. Why take the hard-throwing zip from a quarterback that keeps the percentages way down for interceptions? Why take away the speedy legs of the fastest quarterback in the history of the NFL? It just doesn't make sense.
Lousy coaching kills talent. And for 12 years, the Eagles have had plenty of talent wasted by poor coaching and bad play-calling.
