Predictions of an impending race war are a common ideological trope on white-supremacist and neo-Nazi Web sites, again showing that right-wing and left-wing extremism are merely flip sides of the same hateful coin.

Ali's tirade merely parrots the mindless mantra "Bush is bad, Republicans are mean, Obama was born without the stain of original sin." You want to see the logical conclusion of leftist thought and policies - drive through North Philly.
Ali seems to promote a racial war if voters elect someone who's dedicated his life to this country and served in an actual time of war. Her comments are insulting to African-Americans because they suggest the primary reason for supporting Sen. Obama over Sen. McCain is because he's biracial.
This sad attempt to sow racial and class division clumsily attempts to apologize for Obama's unsatisfactory African-American credentials. Her apology that Obama's ancestors "never wore shackles" is beyond disgraceful. Is this a stain on Obama's resume?
The real shame is that her bigoted and narrow-minded article was linked by the Drudge Report and sent around the world for millions to view. The good news is it shined an antiseptic light on the rampant left-wing bias at the Daily News. The bad news is that our reputation in Philly has again been damaged on an international stage. I thought the left deeply cared about our "international image"? Oh, well.

Well, this week has been an all-time low even for the far-left Daily News.
First, Fatimah Ali talks about "rich Republicans" (liberal-speak for white males) not understanding that people are suffering in this economy. I'm a Republican who goes to work every day, and I know times are tough.
But you actually said "if McCain wins, look for a full-fledged race and class war." How little faith you have in African-Americans and shame on you for using such a despicable tactic to push your own political agenda.
I am also confused about the Democrats' view of America today. I watched the speech by Michelle Obama's brother, Craig Robinson, who said, "I can see how the person she is today was formed in the experiences we shared growing up: working hard, studying hard, having parents who wanted more for us than what they had. And always being reminded that in this country of all countries - those things are possible."
Michelle Obama herself said, speaking about her parents, "so I know firsthand, from their lives and mine, that the American dream endures." So are we mired in haves and have-nots or is this a country that allows you to get ahead if you work hard? As a Republican, I'd like to see my candidate win, but if Mr. Obama wins, I assure you I will not be rioting, and he will be my president if the people chose to put him into office.

Deep background
Re Jenice Armstrong on Michelle Obama: We are voting for a candidate, not his wife. I didn't want to see Hillary when Bill was president, and I don't want to see the Marxist, America-hating Michelle either. Why can't they be like Barbara and Laura Bush? Stay in the background where they belong.
