Letters | Save the children

TWO OF MY grandchildren live with me. Every time they are out in front of my house, my eyes are watching all around. When I take them to the store with me, I am scared that some crazy person will come in and hold the place up.

This has to end, and I have a suggestion: Concentrate on ways of cutting crime and saving our children.

We need new laws making judges accountable for their decisions letting criminals back on the street. Just stop and think when you hear that children are hurt or killed - someday that could be one of our own children in that horrible situation.
