Mr. Kanterman takes his grandson to day care every day, and he forgets that one day?
If Mr. Kanterman was my father, I would never forgive him for leaving my child in his car. He should be sent to jail for his negligence and carelessness. He deserves it. It will be a miracle if that child lives.

Ex-NBA ref fouls out
What a real piece of trash former NBA referee Tim Donaghy is turning out to be. I believe he would sell his mother out if the price were right. I certainly hope the feds give him the longest jail time that is possible. He deserves to be in the toilet where he can rot away.

Arrest sex scandal enablers
Once again the spotlight has been put on one of the enablers ("Bishop Defends Handling of Sex Scandal Involving his Brother and Teen Girl," June 12).
This time, it is Episcopal Bishop Charles E. Bennison Jr., who is in the public spotlight for his role in covering up for his own brother and priest, John Bennison.
One can only wonder which bishop from which denomination will be the first to be arrested and tried for his complicity and collusion in the cover-up for sexually abusive priests.
That will only happen when church members and people at large are sufficiently outraged by a conspiracy and cover-up that protected rapists, abusers and molesters while giving absolutely no thought to those violated.
Bishop Charles E. Bennington's words, "I thought we all had sort of moved forward," sound all too familiar from the 2005 Philadelphia Grand Jury Report on the collusion, conspiracy and cover-up that went on for decades in the Roman Catholic Church.
The only way the Archdiocese of Philadelphia will regain its credibility is by total transparency and its proactive support of more adequate child abuse legislation for Pennsylvania.

Park Wheels in the dugout
I don't understand why the Phillies brass haven't moved Chris Wheeler from the broadcast booth to the dugout where his psychic abilities and undeniable knowledge could be better utilized. It may also aid the fans in our ability to watch and enjoy a game!

Time for Rev. Al to get real
It's past time the Rev. Al Sharpton and those deceived by his rhetoric come to true terms with the most terminal plagues facing black America: criminal behavior.
Rather than work together to solve their problems, they place blame elsewhere. Rev. Al needs to get real and cease playing the race card game as taught by Jesse Jackson.
Stick to the real issues for real change.
