Service Saturday for journalist Peter Binzen

A memorial service is planned for Peter H. Binzen, 94, of Bryn Mawr, an acclaimed Philadelphia writer and editor who died Wednesday, Nov. 16, leaving behind four children and nine grandchildren.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at St. David's Episcopal Church, 763 S. Valley Forge Rd., Wayne. Interment will be private.

The family asks that contributions in Mr. Binzen's name be sent to the Franklin Inn Club, a writers' and literary group at 205 S. Camac St., Philadelphia 19107.
