Ronald L. Hahn, 84, of Wayne, a retired sales manager, died at Penn Hospice at Rittenhouse on Saturday, Nov. 26, from complications of a fall.
Mr. Hahn began his sales career with Pillsbury Flour Mills Co. in Philadelphia, where his future wife, Gloria DiVirgilio, was working in the office.
For 30 years, he was with Creed Co., a plumbing supply firm in Concordville. In the early 1990s, he retired as a sales manager from Creed, now PlumbMaster.
Mr. Hahn and his wife raised a family in Norristown and Gladwyne, and spent summer vacations boating on the Chesapeake.
After he retired, they divided their time between homes in Wayne and Punta Gorda, Fla. For a decade, he worked part-time at a Genuardi's supermarket in Wayne and in the winter, he volunteered at Charlotte Regional Medical Center in Punta Gorda.
He enjoyed a good laugh; travel, especially to Italy, the Caribbean and California; and spending time with his family, his son Stephen said.
Mr. Hahn graduated from Northeast High School. After serving in the Marine Corps for two years, he graduated from Peirce School of Business Administration, now Peirce College.
In addition to his son, Mr. Hahn is survived by daughters Denise Miller, Tracey Vawter and Leslie Kubera; a sister; and 11 grandchildren. His wife died in 2009.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1105 E. Lincoln Highway, Exton.
