Patricia A. Sabatini Murtha, 51, of Drexel Hill, an executive assistant, died of complications from multiple sclerosis Sunday, June 20, at home.

Patricia A. Sabatini Murtha, 51, of Drexel Hill, an executive assistant, died of complications from multiple sclerosis Sunday, June 20, at home.

From 2003 until the end of 2005, Mrs. Murtha was an administrative assistant in law offices in Conshohocken for attorneys Jennifer Bragg and Jane Ruddell, who specialize in health-care issues. Previously, she was an executive assistant for more than a decade for Jefferson Health System. In 2001, she stayed home for a year to care for her aging parents, said her husband, Kevin P.

She loved dancing with friends at the Lagoon Nightclub in Essington, collecting art by Toulouse-Lautrec, vacations in Ocean City, N.J., and travel to the Southwest.

After her diagnosis with multiple sclerosis in 2002, she kept a bright and positive outlook, her husband said.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Murtha is survived by a son, Jonathan; stepchildren Alexander and Sossity; a brother; and a sister.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 24, and from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. Friday, June 25, at D'Anjolell Memorial Home, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall. A Funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Cyril of Antioch Church, 153 Penn Blvd., East Lansdowne. Entombment will be in SS. Peter and Paul Mausoleum, Marple Township.
