Linda W. Carilli, 58, PR leader

Linda Webb Carilli, 58, of Moorestown, a public-relations executive, died Friday at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania of lung-surgery complications.

For the last five years, Mrs. Carilli was a senior vice president for health care at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide in Manhattan, said her husband, Edward.

She joined Weight Watchers International in Woodbury, N.Y., in 1990 and left as general manager of public affairs in 2004. She was director of nutrition and consumer services for the Thomas J. Lipton Co. in Englewood Cliffs, N.J., from 1986 to 1990; vice president and manager of the health-care group for the public-relations firm Ketchum in New York from 1980 to 1986; and an associate director for the Good Housekeeping Research Institute in New York from 1977 to 1980.

Born in Englewood, N.J., Mrs. Carilli earned a bachelor's degree in foods and nutrition from Douglass College and a master's in nutrition and marketing communication from Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at Boston University.

Besides her husband, she is survived by sons Dylan and Ethan and her parents, William and Charlotte Webb.

A memorial service was set for 11 a.m. Saturday at the Center for Conscious Living in the Moorestown Community House, 16 E. Main St. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
