Born in Delhi, N.Y., Mrs. Tyler was a member of the Philadelphia Society for the Preservation of Landmarks for 15 years from the late 1970s, her son Thomas said.
She dealt with the Powel House, 244 S. Third St., home to Samuel Powel, the last mayor of Philadelphia under British rule, and Grumblethorpe, 5267 Germantown Ave., the summer home that wine importer John Wister built in 1744.
Mrs. Tyler was a member of the Woodland Garden Club in Abington from the early 1970s to the mid-1980s and served two terms as its president.
Her flower arrangements, sponsored by the Woodland Club, earned awards in the early 1980s at the Philadelphia Flower Show, her son said.
Besides her son, Mrs. Tyler is survived by sons Jeffrey, Craig, Michael, and Timothy; 18 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Her husband, Richard, died last year.
A visitation was set for 3:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Baron Rowland Funeral Home, 1059 Old York Rd., Abington, where a funeral will follow at 4:30. Burial will be at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
