Did 'Obama' parade float go too far?

A Fourth of July parade float in Norfolk, Nebraska has caused national controversy for its depiction of President Obama.

The float featured a skeletal dummy in overalls hanging in front of an outhouse labeled "Obama Presidential Library."

While a number of locals condemned the float as offensive and racist, three judges awarded it an honorable mention. Fans of the float likened it to political satire.
