ABOUT THE SERIES
This series examines how the changes in the American economy have come down hard on young adults. To produce this series, reporters interviewed millennials and their parents and experts, including economists, sociologists, and historians.
Reporters interviewed specialists and reviewed data analysis from experts at the Center for Labor Markets and Policy at Drexel University and Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce. Also interviewed were experts from the John J. Heldrich Center for Workforce Development at Rutgers University, the MacArthur Foundation's Network on Transitions to Adulthood, the Community College Research Center at Columbia University, and the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
