Romney schedules rally in Valley Forge, Pa.

POSTED: Thursday, September 27, 2012, 10:44 AM

Republican Mitt Romney, already in Philadelphia to raise campaign cash, is planning a public rally Friday at Valley Forge Military Academy & College in suburban Wayne.

The Southeastern Pennsylvania swing will be Romney's first visit to the state since mid July, when he held a rally at a a shale-drilling related business in Westmoreland County coupled with a fundraiser in Pittsburgh.

Romney's return comes amid speculation that Pennsyvlania has fallen off his campaign's target list as a top-tier battelground state. Recent polls have show President Obama with a lead in the low double digits in the state, though top Republicans say their own polling has the race much closer and not they have not given up being competitive.

Friday's event at the military school is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m., with the doors opening at 9:30 a.m., Republicans said. People interested in attending are asked to RSVP at www.mittromney.com/states/Pennsylvania.

Romney- spend his 20's in France and Cambridge, lives in Beacon Hill while Ann stays at home raising his family- who paid for all that?? Doesn't sound like a self made man to me. Peak employment @ Bain - 400 employees........Peak employment @ GE under Jack 392,000.........any LBO titan is in NY- not Boston. This guy is a fraud.

Ha, We sent our Vincent to VFMA, a chubby Republican and now he's a Democrat, an expert chess player, and works in Green Energy for GM. Is Romney stoping here to recuit for Morman Missionaries? In Nov. he'll be back to real job as CEO of a cult.

Mitt the Fraud reaches the people by hiding in the Military Academy where the students have no other choice but to be there for his nonsense. He wants war in Syria, Iran, and is sorry we don't have more troops in Iraq. Of course, if President, his sons won't go but some of those kids at the Academy probably will. He is a true NeoCon, never having met a war he didn't like, not exposing himself or his family to danger, but sending other men and women in harm's way.

It's very disappointing to hear you slander Romney, FoxNews, and Republicans who love America while we have a president who is destroying it. Go ahead and make up lies like the media and the president do and try to feel good about yourself. The worship of Obama is insane. Do your research in places other than liberal news.

It's beyond comprehension that someone who wants represent 1% of the population would tell 100% lies to dupe 99% into voting for him. He's not for vets, military, retired folks, upper middle class, middle class, lower middle class. He's for more RMoney and Mormans. Forget the news, do some reseach and read his bio. He has spent his entire life betting against the American dollar and American workers.

One of our few chances this campaign to see the next US President, who will get us out of this death spiral.

That's right, he is above the law and knows what's best for the American people. Laughable. The leftists love to be coddled by their mommy-in-chief.

I wish President Obama was as much of a lefty as you say he is. If so, I think he'd be up by 20 points now instead of 11.

    .................
The president told the UN that the “future must not belong” to a series of people including “corrupt” leaders and those who “bully women.” But one line from that list stood out. “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”

That line appeared almost nowhere in the old media where Obama’s supposed defense of free speech dominated. The broadcast networks ignored it and only Jake Tapper noted that Team Obama had also tried to get the video pulled from YouTube for violation of “terms of use.” The New York Times skipped the line, ironically in an article headlined: “Obama Tells U.N. New Democracies Need Free Speech.”

I'll be there and support Mr. Romney. I'll do whatever I can to take back the country from the clueless socialist president we have, who would rather play basketball than actually work.

Thanks for the warning. I know where I won't be on Friday - Valley Forge! Mitt Romney is the phoniest joke on the planet and will surely lose in November. But don't you far right wing nuts worry. He'll be back with a vengeance in 2016. Running as a gay liberal!

You're right, Ryan, and all of these RepubliCons are freaking out because they know that if President Obama wins reelection, it probably means at least 12 more years because Hillary wins in 2016.

It is very symbolic that the lier and coward in chief will show up at Washington's Valley Forge.

Romney parked his money in Cayman and Switzerland to avoid paying for Iraq war

Romney parks in sons in Wall Street to steal money while their peers fight in Iraq after 9/11

Romney parks himself in Paris white others fought in Vietnam.

Romney should not sully the ground that soaked in brave soldiers blood.

He did not speak at "Washington's Valley Forge." Valley Forge Military is Valley Forge in name only. It is in Wayne, and over a half hour drive to VF National Park..
It teaches values more in tune with Generals Howe and Cornwallis than George Washington. I know. I went to that school.

Seedling - it's okay to lie about a lack of security/intelligence at our embassy and blame it on a video? Everybody and their brother knew exactly what happenned. An al-queda flag continues to fly over our embassy, while the big O chats it up on the View.

Do you ever watch the REAL news? The embassy attack that killed our ambassador was Al-Queda. The Libyans love America. The protests in Egypt and across the Middle East are the result of the loony right wing fringe in those countries that never had freedom of speech, and don't fully understand that free speech means all speech. Right wing wackos are no more representative of the Arab world than Rush Limbaugh represents average American beliefs.

Kilgore = you are right. Also Ambassador Stevens was known for getting "Too close" to the people thus exposing himself to danger as a matter of habit. As a former Peace Corps Volunteer who served in an Arab country, he knew the culture and the language to the point where he felt he could get as close as possible. He was a rare gem to have in the field of diplomacy.

Obama victory will be almost nothing if congress is not liberated from the GOP crooks.

The voter registration and voting drives need to intensify, rather than being happy with a partial victory.
