Six people were arrested Wednesday during a sit-in at the offices of the Democratic National Convention host committee demanding a list of donors for next week's event.

Reclaim Philadelphia, a group that has been pressing for the donor list, organized a demonstration at City Hall that turned into a march down Market Street to the host committee's offices on the 1900 block of Market.

The sit-in lasted for about an hour late in the afternoon before police, after giving several verbal warnings, arrested the six participants.

The protesters were taken to the Ninth District to be issued citations for failure to disperse and disorderly conduct, said Reclaim Philadelphia spokesman Alex Nagle.

The Pennsylvania Office of Open Records has ordered the committee's quarterly financial reports to be made available to the public.

The host committee and the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development, which guaranteed a $15 million line of credit to the committee, appealed the decision, delaying any release until after the convention.

Reclaim Philadelphia is made up in part of supporters of U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign.
