All you need to know before you vote

PREDICTING a "messy" Election Day, Committee of Seventy President Zack Stalberg promises to send 800 volunteers into the five-county Philadelphia region to help at the polls.

PREDICTING a "messy" Election Day, Committee of Seventy President Zack Stalberg promises to send 800 volunteers into the five-county Philadelphia region to help at the polls.

"Am I concerned about misinformation? Yes," Stalberg said at a news conference with city officials Monday. "We're talking about a race that is neck-and-neck nationally. And we're in a state that has moved back into swing-state status."

Stalberg also said the good-government group would have 100 volunteers manning phones to deal with questions.

District Attorney Seth Williams said his office had received no pre-election complaints. He promised to keep voting orderly and urged voters to call his office if they spot any irregularities or voter intimidation.

"Violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law," Williams said.
