Not all Republican billionaires create super PACs tofund stauch conservative causes.

A New York hedge fund manager, one of the GOP's major fundraisers, has created a super Pac that will encourage Republican candidates to back same-sex marriage, reports the Sunlight Foundation

Singer, 68, is the father of a gay son who married his partner in Massachusetts, where gay marriage is legal. So far, Singer remains the only donor to the American Unity super PAC.

Doesn't mean doodoo until the Politicians themselves say they back it. I guess throwing money at them is a good start. Of course, Al Qaeda could've thrown out billions and our crooked politicians would've took it.

The GOP, (Grand Old Party) will remain the same as it has always been. Endorsing freedom OF religion, not freedom FROM religion. The Bible teaches "traditional marriage" is the acceptable lifestyle.
Mr. Singer just wasted his money, their is no audience for gay platforms, in the GOP. It has always been, it will always be:

Social issues create a smokescreen in the world of politics and are used by politicians to cast a wide net in an attempt to garner votes. I doubt our founding fathers were concerned about 'modern issues' and were more focused on the role of limited government, as it should be.

Louie, you really need to study history before you mention the founding fathers. Our country almost did not get founded because the modern issue of their day, slavery. The northern states had to compromise to the southern states to declare independence. And history has shown that the south has been stuck in their ways and dragged their feet with every social issue to have equal rights for all citizens.

Singer should have spent his money better by hiring someone to de-program his kid. This idiot is spending big bucks for nothing as Repubs will not vote for gay anything.

And louie, keep posting. We need smaller central government and more states rights. The federal gubbmint was created to protect the citizens, not force us to accept social ills. Smaller government means lower taxes.
