Person killed in Gloucester County crash

One person was killed and at least one other person was injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday evening in Gloucester County.

Authorities said a van crashed into a car just after 6:30 p.m. in the 3100 block of Delsea Drive in Franklin Township. One person was pronounced dead at the scene and another was to be transported to a hospital by helicopter. Additional ambulances also responded to the scene.

The cause of the accident was under investigation.
