Cops: Mother, stabbed by daughter, seriously injured

A woman was stabbed multiple times by her daughter and sersiouly injured Monday during a domestic dispute inside a home in Frankford, police said.

Just before 11 a.m., the 57-year-old woman was attacked by her 31-year-old daughter, who stabbed her several times in the back.

The incident occurred inside a home on the 4700 block of Leiper Street. Taken by medics to Temple University Hospital, the mother was listed in stable condition, according to police.

An arrest was soon made, but no weapon was immediately recovered, police said. Police did not release the identities of either the mother or daughter.
