Philadelphia woman struck, killed in Bensalem
Catherine Gaffney, 30, of Philadelphia, stepped into the northbound lane of the 3100 block of Bristol Pike around 5:45 a.m. and was struck by multiple vehicles, police said.

A pedestrian died during Wednesday morning's snowfall after being struck by multiple vehicles on a Bensalem highway.
Just before 5:45 a.m., Catherine Gaffney, 30, of Philadelphia, stepped into the northbound lane of the 3100 block of Bristol Pike. She was hit by multiple cars and succumbed to her injuries, said Bensalem's director of public safety, Fred Harran.
The drivers were cooperating with police. Harran said he did not anticipate charges being filed as of Wednesday morning.
Police did not specify how many drivers were involved and said no additional details about the incident were available at this time. It is under investigation.
