LANSDALE Lansdale Police are looking for a stabbing suspect after an argument between two barbers escalated into violence.

Junior M. DiBartolo, 24, of Lansdale, was charged Thursday with eight counts, including two of felony aggravated assault.

On Wednesday afternoon, DiBartolo and another barber at Finest Barbershop, on West Main Street in Lansdale, began arguing verbally about their customers, said Sgt. Alex Kromdyk of the Lansdale Police Department.

"They agreed to step outside the shop and fight to settle their disagreement," Kromdyk said in a written statement. "At that time, DiBartolo picked up a pair of scissors and stabbed [the victim] several times in the side."

DiBartolo then ran away, police said. A third coworker drove the stabbing victim to Abington Health's Lansdale Hospital, where he was treated for three stab wounds to the upper left side of his torso.

Anyone with information on DiBartolo's whereabouts is asked to call Police at 215-368-1801.
