HARRISBURG - An Occupy Harrisburg activist was arrested at a mall on Black Friday over a zombie outfit, the group said.

Lower Allen Township police confirmed that a person dressed as a zombie was arrested at Capital City Mall after refusing security's request to remove the facial makeup.

Police charged the protester with misdemeanor trespassing. Others in the group agreed to wash off their makeup, police said.

The mall bans outfits that hide a person's face.

Occupy Harrisburg participants dressed as zombies to protest the consumerism of the shopping day, organizers said. They said the protesters walked peacefully through the mall early Friday and did not disrupt shoppers.

The arrested protester, Jenn Hara, said she was merely asking security for more information about the mall's regulations when she was handcuffed and charged with misdemeanor trespassing.
