Hatboro branch of TD Bank is robbed

A Hatboro branch of TD Bank was robbed yesterday by a man who might have robbed another TD branch this week, an FBI spokesman said.

The bank, 256 S. York Rd., was robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash shortly after 4:30 p.m. by a man who indicated he had a concealed weapon. Police said the suspect was wearing a blue hat, jeans and a light brown coat. The man appeared to be the person who robbed a TD Bank branch in Upper Southampton on Monday, FBI spokesman J.J. Klaver said.

The robber was described as a white male in his early 40s, between 5-foot-10 and 6 feet tall, weighing 160 to 170 pounds. He has brown eyes and short brown hair, receding with a small bald spot on top. He has an olive complexion with a brown mustache and goatee.
