Tenant sues accused Peeping Tom landlord

While Montgomery County investigators are still analyzing evidence against accused Peeping Tom landlord Thomas Daley, one of his Norristown tenants has filed a lawsuit over the alleged spying.

In the lawsuit filed Thursday, Erin Melville accused the landlord of taping her "in various states of undress" on "at least dozens of occassions" in her apartment on Green Valley Road from March 2007 until hidden cameras were discovered this month. The woman is asking for $100,000 for the "torturous and outrageous conduct." No court date has been set.

Her attorney, John I. McMahon Jr., said he is not seeking to make the suit a class-action case for the other tenants Daley allegedly spied upon. Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman said prosecutors are investigating how many counts to charge Daley with in connection with the alleged spying.
