A man in his 20s died last night hours after he was shot near the intersection of Reese and Dauphin Streets in North Philadelphia, police said.
Homicide officials said police received a call at 3:30 p.m. Medics responded and found the victim lying in the street, with two gunshot wounds to the torso.
The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8 p.m. Police were unwilling to release the man's identity last night, pending notification of next of kin. No arrests were reported. - Bonnie L. Cook
