Man found slain in vacant Camden lot

A Turnersville man was found dead in a vacant Camden lot yesterday morning, police said.

Bryan G. Silvers, 29, was killed by blunt-force trauma to the head, said Jason Laughlin, a spokesman for the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. Authorities believe he died late Monday.

Neighbors found Silvers in a lot on Erie Street, between 4th and 5th Streets, about 7:15 a.m.

Laughlin declined to release additional information about the circumstances of Silvers' death or why he was in Camden.
