Suspect charged in July slaying in Camden

A Pennsauken man has been arrested in a July shooting death in Camden.

The Camden County Prosecutor's Office said 19-year-old Jose A. Lopez is being charged with killing 22-year-old Nhat Tran.

Lopez admitted to detectives that he shot Tran during an attempted robbery, prosecutors said.

Tran was found fatally shot in a Nissan Sentra near 34th and Rosedale streets just before 8:45 p.m. on July 26.
