South Jersey shoplifters stole with 5 kids in tow, police say

Police are looking for three suspected shoplifters who allegedly stole from a Gloucester County Rite Aid earlier this month with five young children in tow.

Police are looking for three suspected shoplifters who allegedly stole from a Gloucester Township Rite Aid earlier this month with five young children in tow.

All eight people were captured on surveillance video walking into the store on Blackwood-Clementon Road around 8 p.m. July 2.

The adults, one man and two women, allegedly made away with about $300 worth of merchandise within the space of five minutes. Investigators did not disclose what items were taken.

The male suspect is in his 20s or 30s and was last seen wearing a white tank top, red shorts and sandals, police said.

One of the women is also believed to be in her 20s or 30s and was wearing a peach or pink shirt, a pink-striped skirt and green sneakers, police said. She was carrying a black bag over her shoulder.

The second female suspect is described as being in her late teens or early 20s and was last seen wearing a green shirt with the word "love" and a dog paw print on it. She was carrying a tan shoulder bag.
