Police and prosecutors are searching for a driver who hit and killed a pedestrian in Audubon on April 9 and fled the scene, authorities announced Tuesday.

Audubon native Christopher Dean, 36, was found on the side of the road near the intersection of West Graisbury and East Atlantic avenues just before 11 p.m., according to a news release.

He was pronounced dead at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden an hour later.

After an autopsy, the Camden County medical examiner ruled that Dean's injuries were consistent with being hit by a vehicle.

The Camden County Prosecutor's office asks that anyone with information call 856-225-8514.
