Pedestrian, 73, killed by SUV in Cherry Hill

Police are investigating a Monday night crash that killed a pedestrian in Cherry Hill.

Authorities said the incident happened at about 5:15 p.m. near Church Circle Road, when a 73-year-old man was fatally struck by a 2013 Cadillac Escalade.

Cherry Hill police said investigators are looking for witnesses to get additional information about the accident.

The pedestrian's name was not released. Police said the Escalade driver, who also was not identified, remained on the scene.

No charges related to the crash had been filed as of this morning.
