N.J. officer in trouble over nasty pro-Trump tweets

A New Jersey police lieutenant's profane, pro-Trump tweets have prompted an internal review from law enforcement, according to a story from NJ.com Saturday.

Salem County Prosecutor John Lenahan told the web site that Elmer Police Lt. Steven Felice was under internal review by his department because of a string of tweets in the past week that were abusive toward people he perceived as opposed to Trump. Tweets from his account called Dan Rather a "scumbag liar," and Chuck Todd, host of NBC's Meet the Press, a "little girl." Among the tweets was one directed at Massachusetts Congressman Seth Moulton, a Democrat, that told him to, "Watch your back at every turn." Moulton reported the tweet to U.S. Capitol Police, according to the Boston Globe.

Lenahan, the Elmer Police Department, and the Capitol Police did not return calls Sunday. Felice could not be reached. According to his profile on a law enforcement networking site he has worked in law enforcement for 23 years. His Twitter page appeared to have been deactivated Sunday.
