Creatures ghastly, ghoulish, and fun hang out in Lambertville, N.J., a town that loves their Halloween. Last weekend saw the 75th annual costume parade and a jack-o-lantern carving contest, and on Friday, streets will close so residents can safely trick-or-treat and admire the decorations. One of the most impressive is outside the Union Street home of retired city art teacher Dolores Dragan. She started creating the annual displays in 1998 while still teaching, modeling the concept on a theater production she helped found which is produced and performed by special needs students under black light.
