CHERRY HILL The Cherry Hill Public Library will host a Touch-a-Truck event July 11, showcasing a variety of cars and trucks.

Refreshments will be served by — what else? — food trucks selling cupcakes, hot dogs, ice cream, grilled cheese, and more, the library said in a news release.
Ubiquitous vehicles such as an 18-wheeler truck, a police car, an ambulance, and a fire engine will be on display from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., alongside one less often seen: a prisoner van. Visitors are urged to bring donations of clothing, household and baby items, and toys for the Green Drop Donation Truck.

Cherry Hill's library is at 1100 Kings Highway N.

Katie Hardesty, the library's head of special events and public relations, can be reached at khardesty@chplnj.org and 856-903-1207.
