Cops: Couple charged for sex on Sea Isle beach

A Philadelphia couple has been charged with lewdness for allegedly having sex off the shore of a Sea Isle City beach.

Matthew McPeak, 27, and Stephanie Wallington, 23, were arrested Sunday, police said.

Officers saw the couple engaged in extreme PDA in the ocean near the 46^th Street beach around 4 p.m., police said. By that time, a crowd of spectators had already formed, according to investigators.

Police directed the duo out of the water. An eyewitness reportedly told CBSPhilly that the female suspect took a long time to emerge because she had trouble tying up her bikini bottoms.

Officers took both suspects into custody and later released them on a summons.
