Suspect sought in Monday shooting in Camden

A suspect has been named in the Monday homicide of a man in Camden.

A suspect has been named in the Monday homicide of a man in Camden.

Elliot Knock, 31, is wanted for the Monday killing of 37-year old Nelson Jackson, police said.

In an encounter on the 800 block of Haddon Ave. Monday evening, Knock allegedly mortally wounded Jackson after allegedly firing multiple shots. Jackson was rushed to Cooper University Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead shortly after 7 p.m., police said.

The slaying was one of six during a week-long eruption of violence in the city.
