Bank robbery suspect arrested in Atlantic City

Police have arrested Dalip Selman Kozi, a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred in Egg Harbor Township, after stopping his car in Atlantic City.

Police have arrested a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred Wednesday morning in Egg Harbor Township, N.J.

Dalip Selman Kozi, 46, of Brooklyn, is charged with robbery, terroristic threats and theft for allegedly holding up the Wells Fargo in the Harbor Square shopping center shortly after 9:15 a.m.

Police said he presented a teller with a demand note stating he had a weapon and took an undisclosed amount of cash, fleeing in a newer-model black or dark-blue Chevrolet Malibu.

About six hours later, two Atlantic City police officers stopped a vehicle fitting the description of that used in the robbery, according to authorities.

Kozi was taken into custody after further investigation, police said.

He was taken to Atlantic County Jail on $200,000 full bail.
