Autopsy: Drugs caused death of man found in burning minivan

A man found in a burning minivan on Miller Street in Camden died accidentally from the adverse effects of drugs, according to autopsy results released by the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.

A man found in a burning minivan in Camden died of a drug overdose, according to autopsy results released Friday by the county prosecutor's office.

A medical examiner ruled the man's death an accident, prosecutors said. Firefighters discovered his body in the driver's seat of the burning vehicle along the 2100 block of Miller Street around 1:15 p.m. Thursday.

The man is believed to be a 23-year-old Marlton resident, but detectives are awaiting DNA test results to confirm his identity.

The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation.
