A Trenton man was convicted Friday by a Camden County jury of human trafficking and promoting prostitution in South Jersey, prosecutors said.

Brian Moore was found guilty of five counts of first-degree human trafficking and six counts of third-degree promoting prostitution. He faces a maximum of 20 years in prison on each first-degree count and 5 years in prison on each third-degree count, prosecutors said. He is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 2.

Investigators identified four women who were provided drugs in exchange for engaging in prostitution at South Jersey motels. Moore advertised the women on websites such as Backpage.com, which is now being targeted by authorities for alleged sex-trafficking.
