Inside Dong Lim's fish and produce store in Camden on Sunday afternoon, customers were talking about the Super Bowl game, then just hours from kickoff.

It was about 4 p.m., and other businesses along the 1500 block of Mount Ephraim Avenue were closed for the weekend. Near Lim's store, OK Fish, everything seemed normal.

Then someone outside screamed, he said. A man had been shot.

The city's ShotSpotter activation system, which tracks gunshots, and 911 calls alerted police.

Officers found Nicholas Rowser, 22, of Camden, on the sidewalk at Morton Street. He was taken in a police cruiser to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 4:11 p.m.

Police were still seeking the shooter Monday.

Anyone with information about the incident can call Camden County Prosecutor's Office Detective Jim Brining at 856-225-8439 or Camden County Police Detective Sal Webb at 856-757-7420.
