15 hurt in South Jersey school bus crash

Gloucester Township police said the accident happened on Sicklerville Road when a vehicle struck a school bus that was slowing and had its yellow lights activated.

Thirty children were on the bus, which was transporting the students to Ann Mullen Middle School, at the time of the crash, police said.

Twelve of the students were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries.

The driver of the striking vehicle, a 25-year-old man, and his two passengers, a 2-year-old child and a 4-year-old child, were also taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, police said.

The 7:45 a.m. crash remains under investigation.
