Motorcyclist killed in Camco crash

A motorcyclist was killed and an SUV driver was seriously injured Thhursday in a collision in lower Camden County.

Waterford Township police said the incident happened just before 7:30 a.m. Thursday, when an SUV headed east on Jackson Road near Ashland Avenue entered the westbound traffic lane and collided with a motorcycle and flipped on its side.

The motorcyclist, 25-year-old Jacob Voigt, of Shamong, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The SUV driver, 30-year-old Lawrence Casaba, of Winslow Township, was flown to Cooper University Hospital for treatment.

Police said Thursday afternoon that the crash remains under investigation.
