One ticket sold in Pennsylvania and another from New Jersey won $1 million each in Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing.

The tickets matched all five white balls (2, 9, 11, 22 and 23) to win the $1 million prizes.

But it was an Illinois ticket that matched all of those numbers and Mega Ball of 12 to hit the jackpot, worth $260 million for the annuity or $158 million cash.

The winning Pennsylvania ticket was sold in Monroe County, at the Smoking Cool located at 674 Route 196 in Tobyhanna, the Pennsylvania Lottery said.

In New Jersey, the million-dollar winner was sold in Middlesex County, at Pierre's Deli, located at 592 Georges Road in Monmouth Junction.

The $260 million jackpot is Mega Million's second-largest prize for this year, following only the $265 million won by another Illinois ticket in January.

Tickets sold in New York won the game's only two other jackpot hits of 2015.

Until Tuesday, a jackpot hadn't been claimed since the March 24 drawing. The top prize now resets to $15 million for Friday.

The Pennsylvania and New Jersey tickets were among 14 $1 million winners Tuesday. Other tickets matching all five white balls were sold in California, Georgia, Kentucky, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Texas, Virginia and Washington.

Powerball's jackpot has also been rising and now stands at $188 million, or $119.4 million for the cash option, in Wednesday's drawing.

That game's jackpot was last hit on April 18.
