Pedestrian killed in Mount Laurel crash

Police have identified a pedestrian who was fatally struck by a car in Mount Laurel over the weekend. Police said 53-year-old Warren Coleman was hit when he crossed Route 73 near Rogers Walk against a red traffic light about 8:20 p.m. Sunday.

Police said 53-year-old Warren Coleman was hit when he crossed Route 73 near Rogers Walk against a red traffic light about 8:20 p.m. Sunday.

Coleman, of Mount Laurel, was struck by a vehicle that was driving north on Route 73. He was taken to Kennedy University Hospital in Cherry Hill, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said the driver, who was not identified, was taken to Virtua Marlton for treatment of minor injuries.

No charges have been filed, police said. Authorities said anyone with information about the accident should call police at 856-234-1414, ext. 1566.
