Planned power outages expected in Maple Shade

Police are warning residents and motorists to expect power outages, likely affecting traffic signals, in the Maple Shade area today.

Maple Shade police said the outages are likely to occur for several hours, beginning this morning, due to PSE&G work to repair damaged equipment on Route 73.

The outages will occur near the township's border with Moorestown, in the area of Lenola Road and Route 73, officials said.

Traffic signals in the area may become inoperable, so drivers should use caution.
