Storm causes flooding in South Jersey

Travel Deals

A storm was dropping torrential downpours south of Philadelphia and in Gloucester and Camden counties Tuesday evening.

The rain struck after 4 p.m. as the slow-moving storm spread over the area. Flooding was reported on roads in Glassboro and Pitman in Gloucester County.

Around 5:30 p.m., the storm stretched into Cherry Hill, also dropping heavy rain there.

The downpours follow a storm on Monday that dropped heavy rain in Monco after a slow-moving storm developed in that area. Much of the rest of the week calls for a chance of rain.
