Worker rescued at Camden Aquarium

CAMDEN - A worker who collapsed on scaffolding at Adventure Aquarium Friday was pulled from the lift by firefighters and hospitalized.

CAMDEN - A worker who collapsed on scaffolding at Adventure Aquarium Friday was pulled from the lift by firefighters and hospitalized.

Camden Fire Chief Michael Harper said EMS responded to the incident and then called for assistance from the fire department when they couldn't access the man.

Camden fire deployed a ladder truck to remove the man from the scaffolding where he was working toward the rear of the aquarium. He was taken to Cooper University Hospital.

A county official said it appeared the man collapsed due to diabetic shock. His condition was not immediately known.
