Pennsauken man is shot by masked intruders

PENNSAUKEN - A 21-year-old Pennsauken man was shot in his face at his residence about 8:30 p.m. Saturday, according to authorities.

Officials said the victim, Dejoun Horne, was confronted by two men wearing ski masks, one brandishing a handgun, after they knocked on his door on the 2400 block of 41st Street. A struggle ensued, leaving Horne shot, and the suspects fled.

Horne was taken to Cooper University Hospital and listed in stable condition.

No motive or further suspect descriptions were available. Pennsauken police ask anyone with information to contact Detective Matt Henkel at 856-488-0080, Ext. 2413.
