3 from Cinnaminson charged in store holdups
MOUNT HOLLY - A trio of Cinnaminson residents has been arrested and charged in two robberies as Camden and Burlington County officials investigate a string of holdups of area convenience stores. The three are suspects in the robberies of a Mount Laurel 7-Eleven and the Route 130 Food Mart in Delran on Jan. 16 and Jan. 26, respectively, according to the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office.
Elizabeth Albertson and Charles Richards, both 28 and from the unit block of Kelso Lane, and Brian Hawthorne, 26, of the 3100 block of Georgetown Road, are charged with armed robbery, conspiracy, and weapons offenses.
Hawthorne and Richards were arrested Friday in Florence after a call to police reported a suspicious vehicle at Wallace Avenue and Seventh Street. Authorities found a ski mask, handgun, and what was believed to be a small amount of heroin. Hawthorne and Richards face additional charges, the prosecutor's office said, for planning to rob a Florence liquor store that night. Albertson was arrested Saturday.
Richards' bail was set at $350,000 after a court appearance Monday. He and Hawthorne were held at the Burlington County Jail and Albertson at the Correction Work Release Center in Pemberton.
