Authorities ID body found at Shore

EGG HARBOR TWP., N.J. The woman whose body was found Sunday in a suitcase behind a mall in Atlantic County was identified Tuesday by authorities as Tara Rogers Alicea, 30, of Monroeville.

The remains were discovered by a hunter in a wooded area in Egg Harbor Township, said acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain. She was identified by fingerprint analysis.

The New Jersey Medical Examiner's Officer ruled her death a homicide by strangulation. Anyone with information about her death can call investigators at 609-909-7666. - Robert Moran
