City man charged with harassing Delco family

A Philadelphia man has been charged with harassing and stalking the family of Aimee Willard, the Delaware County woman killed in 1996 on a Blue Route off-ramp.

Eric Jorgensen, 39, of the 600 block of Gerritt Avenue, has allegedly been harassing the family of the college lacrosse star since she was killed.

In December, according to court papers, Jorgensen allegedly made harassing phone calls to Gail Willard, Aimee's mother, wishing her a merry Christmas and indicating he had taken pictures of her grandchildren. Jorgensen has also allegedly shown up at a relative's place of business, and in 2004 harassed the dead woman's brother. He is being held at the Delaware County prison.

Willard was heading home to Brookhaven after a night out with friends when Arthur Bomar, a paroled killer from Nevada, kidnapped her from a Blue Route off-ramp, raped and killed her. He was sentenced to death.
