Clearing the record

A story Friday about the disqualification of Olympic runner Churandy Martina incorrectly described his nation, the Netherlands Antilles. It is not one island, but four islands and a part of a fifth.

A story in Sunday's Sports section incorrectly listed the high school of Maryland safety Antwine Perez. He graduated from Camden's Woodrow Wilson High.

A photo caption yesterday gave an incorrect location for the Franklin Fountain ice-cream parlor. It is on Market Street near Second Street.

OPINION
MY EXPERIENCE with U.S.-made cars is limited and less than rewarding. It was a blue late-'80s Pontiac 6000 sedan, known in my family as "The 6-K."
