Man, 23, gunned down in North Philly

A 23-year-old man died Monday night after he was shot four times on the street in North Philadelphia, police said.

The victim was shot in the back, chest, and stomach about 7:10 p.m. in the 1200 block of 1200 West Dauphin Street. He was transported by police to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:02 p.m.

Police said they had two suspects in custody and a gun was recovered.
